Food and Rum Tour
Chris Pamphile was our driver for the food and rum tour and he was awesome! Prompt pickup and very informative throughout the entire tour. We never felt rushed or that we were an inconvenience we were able to enjoy the St Lucia distillery, local breakfast in Soufriere and lunch, a local rum distillery shop that was INCREDIBLE and my favorite was having fresh coconuts, sugarcane, soursop, and harvested cashews on a local farm in the rainforest. Fantastic Experience
The Rum and Food Tour was fantastic. Chris was excellent; he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable throughout the experience. The locations he took us to were off the beaten track meaning we got to experience authentic St Lucia; from Rum-tasting, a home-cooked salt-fish curry, to tree-to-table mango. Chris was great!
Chris did an absolute amazing job with our excursion. He provided great conversation, assisted us with the mud baths, took us to the waterfalls, several amazing sights of the island, and even took great pictures of me and my partner. Food and Rum Tour
Chris did an incredible job bringing my fiancée and I around a food and rum tour of St. Lucia. From describing local landmarks during the car transfers to telling us stories about his own life, Chris made our tour feel like a unique experience. We really enjoyed the meals and foods we tried, and the rum distillery and infused rum store were pretty cool experiences. He is also a great photographer and took some nice photos of us! Exploring St. Lucia
My husband and I went to St Lucia for our honeymoon and couldn’t have gotten a better guide! Chris was absolutely amazing. He customized each experience to exactly what we wanted and even had recommendations for the pieces we weren’t entirely sure about. He was knowledgeable, took a ton of pictures for us, and is/was an all around a fantastic, trustworthy, genuine person and guide! We loved him so much we booked a second tour with him! More than Tours
St Lucia Scenic Tours will do it all! After having Chris as our tour guide for a food and rum tour (which was wonderful!), we hired Chris to drive us from our hotel in Souffreire to the airport. He was perfectly on-time, shared interesting comments and insights about the sights we passed on our way (making us feel like our vacation was still in progress right up until the last moment!), AND his pricing was better by far than what the hotel was offering for an airport transfer. I can’t say enough good things about Chris and this company; Chris really cares about St Lucia and that really comes across when communicating with him. Authentic experience!
We did the Food and Rum tour with Chris and it was one of our best tours while on the island. He is passionate about local farming, cuisine and artistry, and made time to stop anytime he saw something that might interest us, including an artisanal chocolate shop for my wife. We had a blast. Great tour operator!!!
Chris was a great driver and tour guide. We did the Island Vibes tour and the used him for several trips over our time on the island. We was reasonably priced and very accommodating. He was on time and super knowledgeable about the island and is just a great guy. Amazing Tour Guide and Driver!
As a solo traveler, you always hope you come across great people you can trust and without a doubt Chris is one of those people. I met Chris through another great tour guide and I’m so glad I did! Chris provided me with transportation services on two days; one day he took me to various places in Soufrière and the next day he took me to the airport. Chris was always on time and very communicative. Importantly, he was personable and it was wonderful learning about St. Lucia from his perspective. His passion and love for his country was evident. It was also clear that the satisfaction of his customers is a top priority. For example, I was looking for a particular snack to bring back to the US and unfortunately the store didn’t have what I was looking for. Chris insisted on going to another store along the route to make sure I got what I wanted. The only thing I wish was different was that I had more time in St. Lucia so I could attend the traditional claypot making class he offers. His company has so many great tours and given his passion for wanting people to have authentic experiences, I just know they are amazing too. The next time I visit St. Lucia, it is without a doubt that I will use his services again! I know my trip would not have been the same without his help.
